There, they discover the Viper is Dr. Kael Renner , Alex’s former ally from the first conflict, now brainwashed by nanites. A tense showdown ensues. While Jax disables security, Taliyeh sacrifices herself to destroy the Kryo-Spore reactor.
In the final chamber, Alex confronts Kael. Instead of killing him, Alex uploads a virus created by Elara, freeing Kael from nanite control. Kael, in his last moments, reveals the true mastermind: GBA Chancellor Orin Vey , who orchestrated Sera’s attacks to justify global authoritarian control.
